You should be scared. Yes you, democratic congress critter

As a body, you are loathed from one coast to another by the people of this country no matter how safe your district. Smearing Bernie en masse may be the knee jerk thing, but like most reactionary speech, it's stupid. Even if you succeed in your efforts, you'll fail. You will not be able to forge a winning coalition come November if you continue red baiting and cavalierly tossing off false charges.

People are disgusted with you. You seem determined to increase that sentiment.

1. They don't want him to win. That's been very clear from the start. I don't know if they realize

how much damage they have been doing, and continue to do, to the Party, short-term and long-term.

If you don't want him to win, great, bring it. Bring the truth to a level playing field. Don't rig the debate schedule to however his opponent wants it from moment to moment; don't put pressure on people to endorse his opponent; don't make believe you don't know his name, etc. Sorry, y'all made this formerly yellow dog Democrat feel in need a shower more than once. And see those young uns over there? They love him a lot more than I do and you've been making them vomit.

... up it on prime time TV and technically still go back to their congressional seats in the house.

Its historically and digitally gerrymandered for another half generation of Americans because of the 2010 elections.

Hillary isn't proffering dealing with them only, she's said she'd go around them with unilateral actions if needed

5. They don't want to lose their seats to the GOP, which is what would happen to many

of them with Bernie at the top of the ticket. Nominating Bernie brings about the frightening possibility that not only do we lose the presidency, but the GOP also gets 60 seats in the senate.

in part, because these guys are overreacting. As you Hillary supporters so often say, she will beat him handily in state after state following NH.

8. They may be overreacting. Hill is very likely going to be the nominee, you are right there, so

the disaster scenario of Bernie being nominated isn't something to worry about quite yet. But he can still do damage to the Democratic brand if the words "Democrat" and "socialist" become intertwined in the public mind.

10. It's already happening. The GOP is talking about how Bernie is pulling her to the left, trying to

paint her as a socialist as well. And we're definitely already going to be hearing more about how the Dems are the socialist party.
