Donations to Hillary & Clinton Foundation Led to Massive Arms Sales

In 2011, the State Department cleared an enormous arms deal: Led by Boeing, a consortium of American defense contractors would deliver $29 billion worth of advanced fighter jets to Saudi Arabia, despite concerns over the kingdom's troublesome human rights record. In the years before Hillary Clinton became secretary of state, Saudi Arabia had contributed $10 million to the Clinton Foundation, and just two months before the jet deal was finalized, Boeing donated $900,000 to the Clinton Foundation, according to an International Business Times investigation released Tuesday.

The Saudi transaction is just one example of nations and companies that had donated to the Clinton Foundation seeing an increase in arms deals while Hillary Clinton oversaw the State Department.

IBT found that between October 2010 and September 2012, State approved $165 billion in commercial arms sales to 20 nations that had donated to the foundation, plus another $151 billion worth of Pentagon-brokered arms deals to 16 of those countries—a 143 percent increase over the same time frame under the Bush Administration.

The sales boosted the military power of authoritarian regimes such as Qatar, Algeria, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman, which, like Saudi Arabia, had been criticized by the department for human rights abuses......

Shouldn't the Clinton Charity and it's donations tied to favors be a major issue?

That her campaign chairman, John Podesta, co-owns one of the biggest lobbying firms in DC.

They lobby for weapons manufacturers (which also got massive deals through the State Department while giving the Clinton's foundation - and personally through speaking fees - millions), big pharma and wonderful nations like Saudi Arabia - to try and stop the media from reporting on Saudi human rights abuses and Saudi (and frankly US) war crimes in Yemen.

The other owner of that firm, the brother of her campaign chairman, Tony, is a massive clinton Campaign fundraiser.

Here's just one example:

"In addition to his political savvy and insider cred, John Podesta’s long been known for his prowess in the kitchen — cooking is a hobby he has said helps him relax. Next Tuesday, Podesta will be applying those culinary skills to raising money for his boss: Podesta, Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman, is scheduled to co-host a food-themed fundraiser for the Democratic front-runner along with his D.C. lobbyist brother, Tony, who has been known to put away a few meals.

The evening event will take place at Tony's Kalorama home, where his contemporary-style kitchen will serve as “stage” for bold-face foodies/guest chefs James Alefantis (owner of Comet Ping Pong and Buck’s Fishing and Camping), Amy Brandwein (owner of City Center’s Italian market/restaurant Centrolina) and Massimo Fabbri (executive chef and co-owner of Posto), as well as John. As usual, the maximum personal donation of $2,700 buys the cushiest face time — here a Chef’s Circle spot that includes a pre-reception with the hosts and guest chefs, as well as admission to the party. Two lower tiers, Head Chef ($1000) and Sous Chef ($500) are also available."

Tony Podesta's ex is ALSO a lobbyist and a Clinton bundler:

This is just from the second quarter of 2015:

Heather Podesta of Heather Podesta + Partners, who raised $31,150; Tony Podesta of Podesta Group, who raised $74,575.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/powerpost/wp/2015/07/16/lobbyists-bundle-2-million-for-hillary-clinton/

Another wonderful example:

"Hillary Clinton’s top lobbyist supporter Tony Podesta will be hosting a book party on behalf of David Brock, one of her most dedicated defenders, on Thursday night in Washington, D.C., according to a Politico report that describes the event as a “hot D.C. ticket.”

On Thursday, Sidney Blumenthal, James Alefantis, Paul Begala, Susan McCue, Stephanie Schriock, Eddie Vale and Brad Woodhouse are just a few of the whopping 41 politically connected names listed as hosts on the invitation to one such event in honor of David Brock’s new Killing the Messenger: The Right-Wing Plot to Derail Hillary and Hijack Your Government. Brock, the liberal firebrand and founder of Media Matters, will be toasted and sign copies of his book at the contemporary art-filled Kalorama home of über-lobbyist Tony Podesta."

John was ALSO the Chief of Staff for Bill, while he was President - while at the same time owning that lobbying firm, naturally. And he was an "Presidential advisor" to another Hillary supporter: Barrack Obama.

Obama and Clinton raised endless millions from lobbyists and Hillary is following suit... I'm sure if she did win she'd install John right back n the White House.

This is the very definition of corruption in my books.
