Did Hillary's husband, a two-term president, have ANY significant foreign policy experience coming into office?

Did President Obama, a two-term president, have ANY significant foreign policy experience when he became president?

Did Hillary, herself, have ANY significant foreign policy experience when she ran for president in 2008?

Did she, herself, have ANY significant foreign policy experience when was nominated as Secretary of State?

No, the answer is no to all those questions. You would be hard pressed to pin down many presidents that had any real foreign policy experience going into the job.

Stop with this "I have the experience" meme. Its a fruitless tree.

Dick Cheney
John McCain
Condoleeza Rice

Then, there's Donald Trump...

Experience is good for last year's issues.

3. This is an important point, and I'm surprised that Bernie doesn't bring it up more often.

Even Barack Obama only had 6 years in the Senate before becoming President, which is far less FP experience than Bernie.

6. This might matter more if his challenger in November was going to be strong on foreign policy

but none of the Republican candidates have any more foreign policy experience than he has. So it's not going to be an issue in the general.

based on regime change, and unregulated corporate access to desperate labor pools and resource extraction. One of the main reasons I oppose her.
