I have to admit..the debate last night raised my hopes..

It really did

If after this contentious primary/caucus season the campaigns and Sen. Sanders and Sen Clinton can come together in either ones cabinet or advisory system.. we will all be the better for it.

As probably one of the older posters on DU.. let me just say, I have seen some of the history both candidates talk about.. and they are both good people

Hillary Clinton was absolutely eviscerated by the right while she tried to hold hearings and push forward health care.. I saw it.. and they took out their venom on her when they could not get to Bill.. She was courageous and went through the mill and came up on the other side..

Bernie Sanders stood up at a time the country was just frozen in fear post 9/11.. It took guts for him to take the stand he did in opposing the Iraq war.. People were lied to by the government.. and he took a tremendously courageous stand and went through the mill and came up on the other side.

A lot to admire in both of them when you step back and take it all in
