Hillary's attack on the CFMA is a sleazy tactic. On these grounds Hillary voted to restrict abortio

Hillary voted for budgets that included the Hyde Amendment which restricted federal funds being used for abortion services. She is not anti-abortion and no Bernie supporters would claim that.

No one would actually believe that Hillary is against Women's reproductive rights but she did vote for bills that included the Hyde Amendment as a rider to larger multi purpose appropriation bills. This is a sleazy legislative tactic that puts congress critters in binds where a bill has things they are for and against.

Similarly, the CFMA which Hillary is attempting to use was attached to a larger appropriations bill. It was not a single purpose bill nor where the deregulation provisions the only part of the act. Further, Hillary's attack is incredibly disingenuous because the CFMA was supported and the attachment to the larger bill was pushed by the Clinton Administration and the bill was signed into law by President Bill Clinton. This act was a desire of the Clinton Administration (particularly the Treasury Secretary) who pushed the act.

Bernie is not for deregulation of wall street and Hillary is not against abortions. If either of these votes were not part of a larger omnibus bill with competing goals they should be used against either candidate but they were not and should not.

Hillary trying to use this attached bill as a statement of intent is rather disgusting.
