What will Sanders supporters do if and when Hillary wins the nomination?

Hillary supporters will support the Dem nominee no matter who it is. How about the Sanders folks? Will they vote for Hillary who, YES, is damn well PROGRESSIVE too (even if not a purist), or will they bitch like hell and make excuses and stay home "in protest" or out of some "purity principle" thus helping the vile rotten RePukelican? Or will they abandon their "progressiveness" entirely and actually go vote for the rotten RePUKE?

If Hillary is the nominee, Sanders supporters damn well get a PROGRESSIVE and should be HIGHLY motivated to defeat the slumlord RePUKE, and anyone who equates Hillary Clinton who is HATED by the right wing with a RePUKE is living in an alternative universe.

So, what will the Sanders people do if he's not the nominee?

Others will lay low for awhile...maybe run around deleting the nastiest of their posts.

Most will get onboard, especially when Sanders gives a full-throated endorsement. They'll feel even better when he's named to her cabinet.

Some may stay home. A few might cut off their noses to spite their faces and pull the lever for the Republican-but they'll be few and far between I think.

Some will vote for Jill Stein--as if that makes a difference, or one of the quirky oddball candidates that turn up on many state ballots (Deez Nutz, e.g. or Vermin Supreme).

Then, after a while, not too long after the inauguration, they'll start criticizing every decision she makes as POTUS, because DU is NEVER united, and we are often not decent, when we have a Democratic president. It's a very weird thing.

That's assuming the GOP doesn't steal it. Let's hope not!

If Clinton wins, it will be her job (and to an extent Sanders' job as well) to bridge the gap between the two camps. The same will be true if Sanders win. Nobody has a right to anybody else's vote. If the nominee can't find a way to maintain the Obama or Bill Clinton coalitions, or form a similarly sized one of their own, then we lose.

Personally I think it's a no brainer to vote for the winner of the Democratic primary even though I have problems with both candidates. Either of them are far closer to my ideal position than any of the Republicans are.

If Bernie Sanders is not the Democratic nominee, I'll change my registration to the Green party and begin working to get Jill Stein onto my state's ballot. Failing that I will vote "None of the Above". If this results in a Republican being President, then maybe in 2020 Democrats will give us a more progressive candidate. I don't want a Republican to be President. For God's sake, give me a nominee that I can vote for.

progressive Democratic voters with high ideological standards. They think of her as a Republican light. Then their is those that know the system is rigged so what is the point. Funny thing though a lot of Republicans and Libertarians would vote for Senator Sanders. Even though he can be trusted on reforming gun laws their is a vast amount of voters that thinks Hillary will take away their guns so that would help Senator Sanders if he was the POTUS candidate.
