You cannot take a knife to a gun fight. When the Republicans insist on getting down and dirty, lying and cheating, etc., then the Dems are going to have to be better at exposing them.

To expect gentlemanly behavior from Romney, or any Republican for that matter, is unrealistic. Dems should always expect Republicans to lie, and to lie well, because Republicans are practiced liars.
