He was very dismissive of Nina Turner and the other black woman he was interviewing on Hardball.

1. With Chris I don't think there is any bigotry, but there is a big dose of "I don't like anyone

who likes those people I don't like". In this case Chris has turned his gimlet eye on Bernie, whom he has decided he doesn't like because Bernie was every child to have free education. Nine Turner has stated her support of Bernie so Chris doesn't like her. It's really that simple.

Kathleen Matthews, Marriott International’s executive vice president and chief global communications and public affairs officer, and wife of MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, is planning to run for the seat of Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.).

Van Hollen announced Wednesday that he’ll seek the seat being vacated by Sen. Barbara Mikulski.

A longtime resident of Chevy Chase, Matthews was a popular longtime anchor for WJLA-ABC7, then-owned by the family of POLITICO publisher Robert Allbritton. Matthews, currently abroad on business, has begun talking to Democratic activists and interviewing potential consultants.
