Roh-oh...Clinton Foundation received subpoena from State Department investigators

Investigators with the State Department issued a subpoena to the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation last fall seeking documents about the charity’s projects that may have required approval from the federal government during Hillary Clinton’s term as secretary of state, according to people familiar with the subpoena and written correspondence about it.

The subpoena also asked for records related to Huma Abedin, a longtime Clinton aide who for six months in 2012 was employed simultaneously by the State Department, the foundation, Clinton’s personal office, and a private consulting firm with ties to the Clintons.

I have been really curious about that last bit about Abedin, but until now had to no idea he was doing FOUR Clinton related jobs all at the same time.

David Seide — now the acting senior adviser to the State Department inspector general, used his former position to conduct a wide-ranging investigation into Mrs. Clinton that amounted to nothing, who then continues that work in the State Department. "That has fingerprints on it that are just too visible and just lead to all sorts of questions,” said Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.).

5. She's married to Anthony Weiner...

and the Clinton foundation "work" ramped up after Mr. Weiner lost his day job as a Congressman. Just more sloshing of slush fund dollars amongst Team Clinton. I'm sure it's all perfectly legit... 😏

4. If somebody checks the books, I predict they will find a lot of commingling of funds

Lack of clarity as to who Ms Abedin was working for when she did what and generally sloppy bookkeeping.

It takes an unimaginable level of hubris, arrogance or whatever, to actually believe you can operate in this fashion when your activities are constantly in the public arena.

Of course the problem will be resolved by throwing Ms Abedin to the wolves rather than any actual Clinton having to take the fall.

No way we can afford people like this anywhere near the US Treasury.
