proposals myself and hope we will eventually succeed in achieving them.

I just liked Bernie himself a lot more before I realized he is not a liberal and genuinely despises liberals. I'm a liberal. By far the largest block of voters on the left is liberal. It's not a sensible or sustainable place for an aspirant to national leadership to be coming from, and I want a successful, sustainable presidency.

His feelings have not been secret, for the most part, and he's not the least ashamed of his political orientation. He's proud of it and was proud of refusing to compromise his principles by registering Democrat -- until he did that this fall solely to run on the democratic ticket.

I'm sure he'd have a lot more to say up front about his ideology and the many failings of my corrupt, unprincipled, liberal, democratic, pragmatic (progressive) ideology -- if he weren't currently running as a Democrat hoping to pick up the votes of people like me. Maybe later.

“Senator Sanders likes to point out that he is the most progressive candidate, points that out a lot frankly in this campaign.

Hillary Clinton confessed Thursday to something liberals have long suspected: being a moderate Democrat.

So you have a progressive and a moderate to choose from.I prefer liberal too,but neither are claiming to be,although Bernie fits my definition of liberal.

to acknowledge that simple truth, who indeed make it a principle to insist on insulting and rejecting others like me, reveal something important about their political orientation.

As does anyone who says something like "confessed" to being a moderate Democrat. No kidding! As if it's a crime, or a sin!? She's proud of it, of course -- and so are others in the largest block of leftist voters, by far, in the nation.

That kind of small-minded exclusiveness, that insulting attitude toward others with the same goals, and dysfunctional refusal to ally with liberals are, to put it mildly, not characteristic of liberals. It is far-left, radical behavior, no matter what label people try to plaster on it.

are somehow satisfying to those prone to them. It's so hard to imagine what it like to be a very different sort of person that I really can't guess. I often wonder though. Suffering or enjoying? Reverses tend to stress me, a bit to a lot, and if I reacted to every little thing like that I'd have to withdraw from politics entirely for my own wellbeing - except for polling days, of course.
