Chris Matthews: Too big to fire?

If Keith Olbermann and Martin Bashir were fired by MSNBC for whatever reason, why not Chris Matthews for his outrageous conflict of interest that is affecting his reporting?

His judgment is off the rails this primary season. His wife is running for Congress, and Hillary is reportedly supporting that wife's campaign, in return for skewed reporting in favor of Hillary, to MSNBC's large national audience.

He ought to be fired. Now. Summarily.

2. In MSNBC's primetime lineup

Hardball can at times be the second most popular show after TRMS. And it starts at an earlier time slot and has a terrible lead in.

You could argue he has the second most important show on the networks primetime lineup. He isn't going anywhere.

I think many people make that mistake. So it does beg the question, what do we do. We hope that people are smart enough to elect Bernie who might be able to turn some of Reagan's anti-American changes back to what was before they messed up our country.

Does Mike have a husband that's running for office? Does Joe have a wife that's running for office?

Have their significant others endorsed Trump in their quest for an electoral win? Has the Trump alumni become donors in either Mika's or Joe's significant others campaign?

I don't have a problem with Mike or Joe promoting Trump. They can promote whomever they want as neither has a conflict of interest in a Trump win.

Tweety - on the other hand - has a wife running for Congress. His wife endorsed Hillary. His wife has the Clinton alumni donating to her campaign. Tweety has a conflict of interest here. And every time I turn on Hardball or see Tweety doing after debate analysis he praises Hillary and does everything he can to sandbag Bernie.

Either he recuses himself or MSNBC needs to put him on ice until after the election - or he should be summarily fired.

12. Mika And Joe Can Promote Anyone They Want.....

they don't have a conflict of interest lurking in the background. We know Joe's political persuasion. And we know that he will favor any one of the clown car occupants. He just happens to be favoring Trump. If there is a beef about that - then it should be coming from the Repugs that would maybe want him to treat all of their candidates fairly. So I'm not defending the promoting of a rightwinger.

Matthew's - yes - is a Dem. What I do object to is his obvious favoritism of one of the Dem candidates. I wouldn't mind if he dealt with both of the Dem candidates fairly - but he is clearly supporting one and sandbagging the other.

In the Matthew's background is lurking a wife that is running for Congress as I explained in my previous post. She has her coat strings tied to Hillary. Matthew's conflict of interest is getting in the way of his commentary and he has a audience that can sway many people. That is unfair.

But yeah, they do need to address the conflict of interest issue. At least put it out in the open...on every show!

When he allowed his homoerotic fascination with the sock stuffed in Bush Jrs. space suit to overcome whatever tiny remnant of good judgment and impartiality he still had.

And did you notice that Dead Intern Scarborough has been summoned to the principals office to be chastised for his alleged friendship with Trump?

Appears to be a double standard at work there.
