2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumJoy Reid on the ground in S. Carolina: Black voters say they want to go farther than Obama.
She showed a clip from a black barbershop where the owner explains that there is a generational divide in support, but then Joy said further that many black voters there cite the struggle to get this far and are willing to continue the struggle in order to get free college and the other reforms that are Bernie's core message.
IOW, exactly what Bernie hoped would happen IS happening. The political revolution for equality. Better lives for people of every color.

(17,796 posts)that you shouldn't lie? But there's no need for little white lies here, I've long know how some fill the emptyiness of their souls with hate. No big surprise. Good luck living in the harder, colder world you long for.
Way to marginalize an entire race because you disagree

The Democratic Party has been stained by people with your mindset. The message you should have taken away from this posting was that many people who can't afford to continue their education would happily do so if it were financially feasible.

My question was if any of these people committed to voting for Sanders. I wasn't saying that they wouldn't vote at all. Good grief.

(6,994 posts)We know, but obviously Hillary hasn't learned form her past mistakes of 2008 (both her and Bill) that mud slinging and negatives doesn't work..Take a look at all the racist slurs and all the negative accusations she tossed at Obama. Then there was the Clinton comment that "a few years ago he would have been carrying your luggage" comment that probably had an unwritten negative a affect on her campaign....so the story goes..Hillary is losing, she gets nervous, she comes across with all these lies and it will get worse....Just know that the more mud, the more surrogates carrying her water for her the worse it must be in her internal polls and Bernie is winning Yeah !!!!
