How the MittTwit actually LOST more than Obama as a result of this debate.

Yup, Obama had a weak delivery. No question. I think he tried to come into this first one trying to feel out the MittTwit and trying very hard to avoid a gutter knifefight and appear more Presidential while making his contrasts. But yes, he needed to be more pointed, counterpunch better, and be more energetic. Absolutely. Mitt, who has had 22 debates in the last year, gave a better delivery. Mitt is a skilled debater. He BEAT TEDDY KENNEDY in the debates in MA in '94. But Kennedy still won that election by 13 points.

But what did MittTwit deliver? Strings of LIES and FLIPFLOPS and the BIG BIRD GAFFE which is VIRAL on the internet. ALL of this is out there. ALL of this reinforces what the MittTwit is: A LIAR and FLIPFLOPPER with NO CORE who will say ANYTHING to get elected.

MittTwit opened himself up to FAR MORE post-debate attacks on SUBSTANCE and how what he said just reinforces his existing NEGATIVES.

Think about the BIG BIRD gaffe. CLASSIC MittTwit who wants to have EVERYTHING both ways. He says he loves Big Bird, but wants to cut his funding.

With Romney, we can now say "HE LOVES WALLSTREET BUT HATES SESAME STREET." as TeamObama is now doing. KABOOM ! Can't do that to Obama, can we?

TeamObama is now SLAMMING MittTwit on his lies and flips, to the point of saying that an imposter Romney is what appeared on that stage. The BigBird gaffe is VIRAL and makes him no friend to kids and moms.

Did Obama gaffe? No. Yup, a weak delivery without the energy and counterpunches he should have
had, though he did make some good points and contrasts. Obama didn't come out with anything that anyone could attack him on. But like he said yesterday, he could not
keep up with all the MittTwit's LIES. Who could?

TeamObama will keep playing this HARD on the stump and in new ads which are already out and come the next debate, now that the reconaissance mission is over and Obama now has a better up close and personal feel for how MittTwit operates in his debates, come round 2 and 3 you will see a very different delivery.

Remember, this was ONE debate and not the whole fight. Christ, MittTwit went on Hannity and totally FLIPPED again on his 47% comments. Now he can be AGAIN HIT ON THAT ISSUE with new ADS about it and they can attack him on it on the stump and in upcoming debate attacks. MittTwit RE-OPENED THAT WOUND.

And remember, in the end ebates don't much alter such a race. If so, Kerry would have won the election since he won all three debates. And MittTwit would have beaten Teddy Kennedy in 94. So just chill. I think Biden is going to SLAM them next week, and Obama is going to take the gloves off come rounds two and three.

I posted before the debate that both would be themselves and it was just a matter of how a media, DYING to make it a horse race and also to be "fair" to Romney, would spin it.

While people might not know the specifics of the policies, Romney going an hour and a half saying "I will do what Obama has done BETTER!" without specifics leaves a dissonance, and paired with his maniacal presentation, was going to be off putting to a lot of moderate voters.

It gives the Rs so some life and maybe brings home some R leaner types.

But, that is likely all.

Obama looked presidential. Everything you said is right. The debate didn't change my mind. A liar is a liar, period.

Mitt Romney loves Wall Street, but he hates Sesame Street.

Seriously we should all be posting that on Facebook.

he looked drugged. I immediately thought he was on drugs or something.

Then he settled in and seemed confident and persuasive.

And then the bully came out when he pushed Lehrer around to get "his turn" as the last word.

Obama seemed exhausted to me. Weary, as from lack of sleep over multiple nights. So he needs to be rested and he needs to be armed with a one-liner to call out Romney's lies without getting into "did so. did not." or outright calling Romney a liar.
