There's a better way than for profit prisons to help people find a way out of crime....good jobs

Not just that, good education as well and housing and healthcare.

Well educated, well paid, happy, secure people tend to not murder each other....we should have been focusing on that in the 90's, not throwing everyone in prison, locking them up, and throwing away the key.

I thought that was an established fact.
1) less reason to steal when you make your own money
2) busy working, s crime of opportunity goes down,
ow this does not work with sexual crimes so much, more property material crimes.

on Wall St. and other trading centers, is wrong in and of itself.

Such a thing is essentially wrong and detrimental to a countries' well being. It's a cancer.

Let's take the "for profit" out of the equation, by taking the Republican party and the third-way Dems out of the picture. The fuckers.

Any sane kind of prison/restitution/rehabilitation system for certain has to offer multiple escape routes. The system has to have a structure of community empowerment that provides for health, education and basic human needs. The phrase 'homelessness problem' ought to signify a disgrace to be immediately fixed. The "homeless" ought not simply be outcast. No citizen should ever be without access to health care through community health care clinics. Such a system would work toward providing homes and opportunities for the most unfortunate, and it would work toward a culture of prevention and caring. That isn't pie in the sky. That's what Bernie Sanders is explaining already exists throughout much of the developed world.
