Is that this poll was garbage all along (referring to the one that had Clinton up in the 70s that came prior to this one) or

That this is just poll herding, or even some people comparing it to polls from other outfits and thinking that means the Sanders is now losing ground. Spin spin spin.

They are also holding out hope for a Sienna poll.

10. It is actually probably even closer than that

Emmerson uses autodialing polling which is generally considered less accurate than live surveys. Most of the live surveys already had it as closer than this by now and if the Emmerson poll represents a trend then this could be a hell of a lot tighter.

It may explain the wild desperation on the part of the Clinton team over the last week.

This is useful though looking at the trends. He made up a 30 point gap in 3 weeks. With polls from different groups it isn't really possible to see trends as well. Although oddly enough in the case of Wisconsin the Emerson poll looked to be the closest to the actual result. They had Hillary's number exactly, and just underestimated Sanders.

11. Zephyr Teachout got 36% in the NY Democratic primary against Andrew Cuomo in 2014

She had virtually no money. Cuomo (a corporatist like Hillary) wouldn't even say her name and he and de Blasio threatened Democratic politicians in the state with dire consequences if they endorsed her. 38% sounds a little low for Bernie.
