Vatican invitation dated March 30, 2016

Yet Margaret Archer claims:

Sanders “made the first move two or three days ago,” Archer said. She did not know whom he or his representatives contacted about what she called “this little workshop.”

So Sanders make a move to get invited 2-3 days ago, and the invitation was already issued EIGHT DAYS AGO? What's the real timeline here?

There's an image of the invite on this Twittered:

They didn't even take the time to fact check before they ran with it.

If he would have said yes they'd be jumping up and down!

Even Elton John turned her down.

You can't hide your lyin' eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you'd realize
There ain't no way to hide your lyin' eyes
