I did it when the president tried to sell us out via TPP.

I did it when the president tried to sell us out by not prosecuting the executives who caused the 2008 economic crisis.

I did it when the president sold us out by not pursuing the public option.

I did it when the president tried to sacrifice social security.

Obama has reasons for every action that he takes because he has pressures that none of us know about or can realize. I'll take one example - Obamacare. He could have pursued the single payer system, but he spent all of his political capital and barely, just barely got Obamacare passed, even when we controlled both Houses of Congress. He "settled" for what he could get.

And that settling has provided health insurance for 22 million people, at last count. He went for the barely achievable and passed on the completely impossible.

Which is better? Because if he had gone for the public option, he would have ended up with nothing because too many of the Democrats in conservative districts were unwilling to go that far. That's the unchangeable obstacle that he had to deal with. He went for something that he thought he could achieve and set aside his preferred objective because he knew he could not reach it.

How is that selling out? He got a groundbreaking achievement which is now considered to be the greatest achievement for individual wellbeing since Johnson's Great Society legislation in the 1960s.

Bernie supporters tend, no they just do, immediately accuse people of being corrupt or worse simply because they don't like what someone did. Differences don't automatically mean corruption.

Bernie has voted against the Brady Bill and for other pro-gun legislation. Now if I'm acting like many Bernie supporters, I'd call Bernie corrupt, a pal of the NRA, a "Merchant of death," and personally responsible for the 20 1st and 2nd graders who were murdered in CT. Just like Bernie supporters have called Hillary a murderer for her foreign policy decisions. But I'm not calling him corrupt because he isn't. A major gun manufacturer is located in Vermont and so that's a big reason for his voting record. I understand that. I don't like it but that disagreement does not merit calling him a murderer or worse for his votes.

Obama is saying that Bernie supporters are attacking in a way that is not good for the Democratic Party. And you might say who gives shoot about the Democratic Party. But Bernie is running as a Democrat and for the head of the party. So he had better care about it.
