Then it turned out the pic used in that meme was with campaign people or something, can't remember, but it was so funny. As if they don't want 27,000 people showing up to a rally. Give me a break.
.
now that is funnny
Yeah, Hillary likes a quiet lunch with her wealthiest supporters, not one of those loud rally events with the 99%. She got 1% of what Bernie got tonight for a reason. And, that's if I round up.

(9,688 posts)His crowds were world-wide.
Sanders' crowds aren't like that.
That was pure magic.
I do think though that Bernie Sanders will make a better successor to Obama than Hillary Clinton.
I think people know this.
I think Hillary Clinton will bring a massive setback. Just massive.
People know this.

(123 posts)Pulling off 48k is incredible in the primaries.
And they are (hopefully) all Democrats eligible to vote for Bernie.

(1,784 posts)Bernie's had two sell outs at the Moda Center (indoor event) here in Portland this year. I bet, in May, Bernie will have a rally at the same spot on the banks of the Willamette River, shown above..and the crowd will be even larger

(1,048 posts)Social media hadn't yet had the impact it has today so for Obama to draw the crowds he did in those days was amazing.

(11,366 posts)Many caucuses don't report individual voter totals, only delegate counts.
For example, more than 540 people in Alaska voted in the Democratic primary, but that's the number you see when you look it up.
It's far, far less than 2 million.

(59,150 posts)Barack Obama attracted 100,000 people at a Saturday rally here, his biggest crowd ever at a U.S. event.
The crowd assembled under the Gateway Arch on a sunny Saturday afternoon to hear Obama speak about taxes and slam the Republicans on economic issues.
Lt. Samuel Dotson of the St. Louis Police Department confirmed the number of attendees piled into the grassy lawn by the Mississippi River.

BTW are you including all of the tossed independent votes from all over the US that got tossed by the DNC, or are you including all of the ballot harvesting by the HRC? Remind me again why is it a good thing your candidate does bet in closed primaries or states with low voter turn out? That helps her win the election some how right?

(1,511 posts)HRC has a strong base in wealthy, older and retired...so the people with disposable income with more time on their hands. When I was in school I was at the lab or shop until 1 AM and I worked two jobs. Blue collar and hard workers are actually Bernie's forte, but you know that, just ask your nanny, fitness trainer, life coach, or landscaper who they are voting for.

(1,511 posts)Ahhhh Mississippi? Is that the LGBT friendly state?

Or is that the racially friendly one?
http://www.thetoptens.com/most-racists-states-us/
Was that the one they did that great movie about Mississippi Burning? I don't think it was a play on Bernie though...something else, did have to do with a jewish guy right?
http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/slain-civil-rights-workers-found
Maybe it is the Mississippi that supported miscegenation?
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/12/interracial-marriage-deep-south_n_1339827.html
Or was that the Mississippi that voted on the day Hillary got the largest victory upset in polling history?
http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2016/03/08/democrats_clinton_and_sanders_run_in_michigan_and_mississippi_primaries.html
Maybe that is Mississippi with the highest voter turn out in their primary history?
(51% of 2012)
So in this case I would say while the richer areas were around the 80% mark for HRC, and some of the areas with Bernie support were in the 60%...other areas where also lower for Bernie that were not richer. So if it is not money this time around, and they had issues with voting since the removal of the Voting Rights Act...it must be something else? Hillary must speak to the state in some other way? Not sure what it is? You would think a state with such liberal views would side with the most liberal candidate. I am sure I am missing something. Also if every poll says she wins the rich older demographic, and you are saying that is not the case in Mississippi, are you saying all of Mississippi is dirt poor?
Also this is good for HRC
