What I followed thru Hillsborough, NC on my way home today. . . .

And all the way down the street (on its way to the Board of Elections) folks were honking and waving. The driver kept honking "shave and haircut" and the cars were honking back. It made it really hard to detect the lack of enthusiasm over all the dang noise! LOL

I have to take my sign in at night - had mine stolen after just a few days! Of our 150 or so houses in our subdivision, est. that only 10-15 Obama supporters.

and this is what I had to stand beside while working at the polls for almost 3 hours yesterday -

http://nchouserepublicans.com/rod-chaney-district-50/

He is apparently in Durham because he knows he can't do well in Orange county. But it was sort of fun because six twelve and thirteen year old AA girls were out there waiting for their ride home from the library and they gave him a hard time for about 45 minutes. They would not let up on him about Romney. He kept saying he wasn't out there to campaign for Romney, he was out there to campaign for himself but they would not drop it. Over and over they said Romney hates poor people, he wants to get rid of welfare, he wants to deport everyone, he doesn't like black people, he doesn't like women, he doesn't support education, why are you a Republican, etc. He was pretty good natured about it all but I am certain he could not wait for their parents to come get them.

once you cross into Alamance, you should see this tool's signs! He has small billboard-like signs along NC70 that have a picture of a baby saying, "The budget is so bad I pooped my pants!" and other intellectual gems of that ilk.

Sounds like those girls are much more sophisticated and well-informed than Chaney is!

I've been reading tweets and facebook post from a lot of people in the NC and they haven't given up and they claim the polls are wrong that NC is not going red. Keep the ground game up and you'll prove them wrong NC...i wish i could help but im in Ohio and we have to win here too. We have volunteers coming out from NY to help in Ohio. So we also have a ground game!

taking folks to the polls.

First time I'd heard about that

I think that's a great way to spend campaign money - taking folks to vote

I hope Romney doesn't have any buses doing the same thing.
