Obama Launches TV Blitz: 10 Interviews, 7 Swing States... Plus MTV!

And where's Mitt? Hiding from the press until the election. What a contrast.

Obama Launches TV Blitz: 10 Interviews, 7 Swing States... Plus MTV!

From Politico:
He just traveled to six states across four time zones in two days. Now, President Obama will hit seven more battleground states. On TV.
The president will sit for 10 interviews on Friday at the White House -- seven with local stations, one with MTV, one with a black radio network and one with radio host Michael Smerconish of Philadelphia.

Oh wait, no he doesn't. Romney's in hiding for the next few weeks. Wow, that will really persuade voters!

Honestly wish I was kidding. If the roles were reversed, it would be "Romney makes powerful final pitch in closing days as President quietly retreats."

On the plus side, while I think people at this point are tuning out the media and the ads, they'll still (the ones that are moveable) pay attention to the President and what he says. The media thinks we don't want to hear from the candidates, that we'd rather just listen to the media tell us what we should hear and think. But they're wrong. Unless we're Republicans watching Fox, we actually WANT information. REAL information. And I think that if the president is out there giving interviews, it can only help to remind voters why he's president in the first place.

And it will remind them why they need to get out there and vote.
