a state could move the day on which it holds its voting, but, in a presidential election, the voting must be completed by no later than Dec. 11 because that's when the electors meet.

They have moved on from "Romentum" and are now on "will this hurricane destroy Obama's lead?". I bet by tomorrow morning we will be hearing "what if Sandy awakens some kind of Colverfield style monster? Will that hand Maryland's electoral votes over to Gary Johnson?".
Its all attempts to milk this ratings cash cow before the election is over and they have nothing to talk about until 2014.
