Coming off a big win in Indiana and with the Democratic Party holding four more primaries this month, May could end up showing a resilient Bernie Sanders campaign despite the concerted effort of the mainstream press to count him out.
With upcoming contests in West Virginia, Kentucky, Oregon, and the territory of Guam, Politico reports Friday that Sanders could be poised for another upcoming "win streak" against rival Hillary Clinton:
Sanders points to his record of winning 18 states and the narrow margin separating him and Clinton in national polls as cause for remaining in the race.

(7,719 posts)1. If Bernie wins the popular vote, he should win, IMO
I haven't advocated for either candidate, but I will vote for the one who wins the popular vote, not the delegate count. I believe in a democratic society that the majority rules. If he can overcome the 3 million votes he is behind as of now, he deserves the presidency, IMO. If he cannot, I will vote for Clinton.

In fact,Hillary won the popular vote in 08...new rules huh? However, Clinton is way ahead in popular vote. The primary is over. Bernie simply won't accept it.

she is he most qualified candidate which has run in this process. Sanders may contend he can beat Trump, he has not been vetted by the GOP or Trump, this will change the way many feels about Sanders.
