Donald Trump narrowly leads Hillary Clinton in Ohio, new poll says (Sanders leads Trump)

http://www.cleveland.com/open/index.ssf/2016/05/donald_trump_narrowly_leads_hi.html

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Donald Trump has pulled out a narrow lead over Hillary Clinton among Ohio voters, according to a new poll.

The poll, released Tuesday morning by Quinnipiac University, found Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, led Clinton 43 percent to 39 percent in Ohio. This compares to the university's last poll in late February, which found the two tied at 42 percent.

However neither is particularly well liked by Ohioans, with most saying neither are honest or trustworthy.

Meanwhile, the poll found Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders leads Trump in Ohio 44 percent to 42 percent. However, Clinton, the former First Lady and secretary of state, is considered to be the Democratic presidential frontrunner and carries a sizable lead in her party's delegate race.

Is behind Trump in votes, is behind in delegate counts, Hillary is very close to achieving the required delegate count.

I'm ready to take on Trump. It would be nice if they added O'Malley to the polls if they are going to add "also rans".

Not in terms of policy and yes, personally, I would pick him above any candidate running (and it's not even close), but to the wider public, to the people who aren't paying much attention, he is untainted at this point. You can bet your bottom dollar that you wouldn't hear the end of rising taxes, 'socialism', deficit and beyond after the conventions.

I think he would make a fine President; I also think he's an easy target. It's a concern that Clinton isn't a country mile ahead of Trump because everyone has been exposed to his rampant bigotry, but I fear Sanders could run a superlative campaign and still follow the Dukakis pattern against Trump.
