to get around income requirement knew exactly what they were doing...lying to themselves and legal requirements. Sometimes people who know right from wrong need to accept responsibility for their actions. However, if you signed fake documents and unknowingly signed illegal documents those handling your transactions are mostly to blame. Hillary said there was enough blame to go around but the video was conveniently cut at the point where she was going to identify the others to blame. Nice try!

The real damage came as those mortgages were bundled and re-sold and re-bundled and re-sold so that your mortgage ended up god knows where. That is what crashed the markets and hurt the pension funds and others who relied on those inflated deals.

Hillary Clinton Speaks from Peter G. Peterson Institute on Foreign Aid

C-SPAN aired Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's remarks at the Peter G. Peterson Institute. Pete Peterson made billions as a private equity underwriter (PEU). He used $1 billion to establish his institute, focused on getting America's financial house of cards in order (without asking corporations or the rich to step up in any major way.)

America believes government cannot do anything competently, thus the private sector is the answer. That goes for international development.

SNIP...

That requires partners. Giants of philanthropy gathered in New York in 2009. This list included Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Pete Peterson, George Soros, David Rockefeller, and Oprah Winfrey.

SNIP...

Clinton stated in her talk:

Aid chases need, investment chases opportunity.

She mentioned the Clinton Foundation as a partner. President Bill Clinton privatized government functions during his two terms, benefiting multiple private equity underwriters.

''War on Libya is War on Entire Africa.''

In 2010 Gaddafi offered to invest $97 billion in Africa to free it from Western influence, on condition that African states rid themselves of corruption and nepotism. Gaddafi always dreamed of a Developed, United Africa and was about to make that dream come true - and nothing is more terrifying to the West than a Developed, United Africa.

She does include homeowners in the video, but there is no other reference to the quote in the picture anywhere that I could find.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if she actually said it, but I'm not going to claim she did so unless I see evidence for it.

54. I suspect the quote is made up...BUT it shows her lack of judgement in not releasing them
Thu May 12, 2016, 01:26 PM
May 2016

If her speeches were truly innocuous, she is showing very poor political judgement in not just releasing them. It leads to such dark speculation, and assumptions that she must have something to hide in them.

They're not state secrets or anything. And her reasons for keeping them secret don't hold water.....She complains a special standard is being applied. -- Well, no other candidate made millions of dollars for speeches to banksters and big corporations just before running for president.

. Peope have a right to know what is in them since she is running for president.

Thu May 12, 2016, 05:40 PM
May 2016

IOW she blames the consumers whose votes she now wants for the 2008 derivatives crash.

We can detract from the issue of her blaming consumers for the 2008 crash instead of properly and appropriately blaming big banks and Wall St. - by grousing about what may be a made up quote saying the same thing SHE DID SAY in the video at the link (is that fake too?) only using different words.

OK. So. Grouse.

SHE. SAID. IT.

HOWEVER she said it - SHE. SAID. IT.

The Republicans will track these down and dump them at a point where even her BFF at the DNC and on Wall Street won't be able to help her.

Unless of course she now has the eVoting machine companies on her side.

Thu May 12, 2016, 01:28 PM
May 2016

as for your quote from the article....how come you cut out this paragraph?

To her credit, Hillary Clinton did indeed give several detailed speeches criticizing Wall Street for the dishonest practices that led to the boom and burst of the subprime mortgage bubble. She also put forth a concrete proposal to crack down on predatory lending, although that bill died before even going to a committee vote.

And finally, how many times are anti Hillary people going to parse articles from UnCut and claim its an impartial, full truth outlet?

Piece of junk OP

DU juries don't decide what is true. They just vote on whether something violates community standards. The jury for this post should have done what the one for your post did, actually.

The image is incorrect, and there is zero evidence that Hillary said any such thing. It's something created out of whole cloth.

...to mean something?

What about all the minutes before those TWELVE SECONDS and all the minutes after those TWELVE SECONDS?

Twelve seconds most likely taken out of context and it's presented as definitive!
