King Country [WA State] GOP offering to turn in ballots for voters

I'm sharing this to share with those all across the country so that you might PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to what is happening locally for you!

In WA we vote 100% by mail--there is no going to the polls--so the fact that King County GOP is offering to mail ballots for folks is a big deal. Our last two Governor's races ended in recounts (ending in a few hundred votes difference), and this one looks to be heading in the same direction (half point difference at this point). Our state is being flooded with outside money in the governors race, as well as State level seats. In 2010 the Dem State Senator from my LD was defeated by less than 150 votes due to scads of illegally out of state funded fraudulent-lie-filled direct mail. King Country (Seattle/Bellevue etc.) votes have kept our state blue, so messing with King Country matters...

====snip===
Unless you are a registered Republican DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES hand your ballot to anyone claiming that they will turn in it for you.

It has been reported that the King County Republicans are offering to collect and return voters' ballots this GOTV weekend (and in the final 48 hours prior to the 8 PM deadline for returning ballots on Election Day).

King County Elections advises that ballots should be taken to a post office and securely or taken directly to drop boxes (list here: http://www.kingcounty.gov/elections/voting/ballotdropboxes/bdblocations.aspx).

King County Elections was concerned enough about this to put out a statement. BALLOTS SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN TO STRANGERS WHO PROMISE TO TURN THEM IN.

We have had it with their crap.Women will elect Inslee. The republicans have insulted them and threatened them to much for them to forgive and forget.
The Republicans are desperate though.McKenna is being groomed for higher office and if he loses this election I sense they have suffered a major setback in their war on women, healthcare and children. And so be it, that is how it should be.

I love knowing it is run by women and will miss having a woman governor. None of the women I know want to be back 50 years ago with birth control and no choice.

I lived out of State from 2001-2008, so had to be sometime within that timeframe.

We lived in Seattle for a long time before following a job out to the eastside.

I'll never forgive McKenna for independently joining the lawsuit against Obamacare, against the wishes of Christine Gregoire and the majority of voters who put her into office. I've done what I can to help Inslee beat him.

(And don't you hate that Thomas Peterffey who's put himself on TV to lecture us about socialism over and over every day? He's another one who makes me vomit.)

I would think that someone who professed to live his life by Christ's teachings would not attack the most needy among us.The Ill and infirm. That he did file suit is a deep look through the looking glass into the evil depths of his soul.
If our old buddy Tom doesn't like socialism he should stop using my roads,my electricity and my government because me and a whole bunch of people like me got together and pooled our funds to provide those utilities.

Have any of these knotheads even bothered to look up the word in the dictionary?

Anyway thanks for your howdy and think Blue!

I send mine in last week. God who would be dumb enough to trust those idiots???

I will admit though when i did the GOTV last time a few people asked me to turn in their ballot for them.

I dropped them off at post office on my way into office. I knew they were republicans to. It was tempting but heh I believe we all deserve our vote.

My guess is that they intend to throw out all ballots from King County--they won't mind disenfranchising a few of their own if they can statistically disenfranchise even more Democrats. Remember Lori Sotelo in 2005? She took out sworn affidavits that hundreds of people (she swore she knew them personally) had voted in 2004 without being eligible. These were voters registered at mail box shops and various businesses. Some were homeless--one was outed and lost his job. Others lived on the premises of their businesses, a fact that Ms Richtwit could not conceive of. Some were even Republicans, but she didn't care as long as most of the people she fingered were Democrats.
