Romney +4 PA: Susquehanna. Wingnuts hopeful again

Last edited Sat Nov 3, 2012, 01:45 AM - Edit history (2)

EDIT: All links so far lead to wingnut sites. Would you LIKE for me to link to them? Ok, didn't think so... Apparently the client released the numbers early, Susquehanna will release more info later. Anyways that's not the point since wel all know it's BS.

EDIT 2: Here we go, have at: http://goperiepa.com/archives/4499/

EDIT 3: HMM, there seems to be a question as to whether this IS a new poll or not. GOP bait and switch?

Damn, I had hoped those bastards would be on a downward spiral of despair but the GOP is keeping the bullsh*t coming. Of course they also extrapolate this poll to mean that there is going to be a Romney LANDSLIDE. Oh, the stupid it burns.

Susquehanna Polling and Research results for Pennsylvania released today shows Mitt Romney leading President Obama 49% to 45% among 1376 likely voters. Two percent are undecided and 3% are for other candidates.

Susquehanna also had Romney +4 in their last poll.

Needless to say if PA was truly in play Clinton and the First Lady would not be spending time in NC. Unfortunately the wingnuts are pumped again, so we can count on more BS GOP polls coming to get to GOTV.

Last Susquehanna Poll (10/18/12) / 2008 Vote (or Exit Polls)/2004 Vote (or Exit Polls)

Philadelphia----->10% / 12% / 11.7%
Allegheny Co.--->10% / 11% / 11%

Men-------------->48% / 46% / 47%
Women---------->52% / 54% / 53%

White------------->88% / 81% / 82%
Black------------->10% / 13% / 13%
Hispanic----------> 1% / 4% / 3%

1% Hispanic in Pennsylvania? There are a lot of Puerto Ricans in Pennsylvania and in 2008 they voted too.

Also, note the men/women split.

Oversampled whites too.

Sounds suspect to me.

Even IT can't get Romney into a lead in PA.

In fact, if Romney is (+4) Susquehanna, I think that's actually a decrease from last month when this same pollster showed Romney (+2) in PA, yes?

http://washingtonexaminer.com/poll-shows-romney-leading-in-blue-pennsylvania/article/2511153#.UICAGMXA-So

A new poll shows Republican Mitt Romney leading in Pennsylvania, a state that Republicans had all but written off just weeks ago but which is now listed as a toss up by the Real Clear Politics website.

Susquehanna Polling and Research provided The Washington Examiner with a poll it conducted for state party officials that shows Romney with a 49 percent to 45 percent lead over President Obama.

Every other Pennsylvania poll shows Obama ahead, though by a narrowing margin. A Quinnipiac University poll taken around the same time as the Susquehanna poll shows Obama leading Romney 50 percent to 46 percent.

Susquehanna's automated poll of 1,376 likely voters was taken between Oct. 11 and 13, before the second presidential debate Tuesday that many saw as a comeback for Obama since his Oct. 3 showdown with Romney.
