Poll: Obama up 6 in Ohio, 2 in Fla.

By ALEXANDER BURNS | 11/3/12 12:10 AM EDT

"The Wall Street Journal, NBC News and Marist College produce the umpteenth poll of the week showing Barack Obama with a steady edge in Ohio and a very close race in Florida:

"The surveys found the two battling neck-and-neck in Florida, with Mr. Obama drawing 49% support among likely voters to Mr. Romney's 47%.

Mr. Obama held a firmer lead in Ohio—51% to 45%, unchanged from mid-October—where the relatively more buoyant economy and the federal bailout of the auto industry appear to have solidified his support among a wide swath of voters.

"In both states, Mr. Obama got high marks from all sides for his management of recovery efforts after the storm Sandy hit the East Coast. That tracks an array of polls taken in the past week suggesting that Mr. Romney's rise may have flattened out just before Sandy landed, an event that sucked national attention away from the campaign trail. In the Florida and Ohio polls, even a majority of Republican voters approved of Mr. Obama's handling of the storm's aftermath.

"The Florida result is significantly different from the Miami Herald poll published earlier tonight, but it's in line with the bulk of public polling showing a narrowly divided state. The Journal highlights the stability of Obama's performance in Ohio, where he fares better with whites than he does nationally, and where "little changed in [the electorate's] views in recent weeks."

What percent of people do you think abandon their place in line after 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours...
Just by making the process of voting in person a long, miserable experience, they aim to trim off enough people to erase any advantage we have. These are people that polls have counted on.

I Ohio, Husted sent out 7 million absentee ballots. He's set it up so he can see who actually voted. Then his goons can fill out provisional ballots for whoever didn't show up, and then hand the state to Romney at the end of November. Why else would he send absentee ballots to 7 million people when they're supposed to send them only to people that requested them?

Think for a moment how long it would take a handful of people to fill out 7 million ballots.

Before you say "oh he has a lot of goons" think for a moment that the key to secrecy in any conspiracy would be to have as few in the know as possible.

This is an example of why most of the electoral fraud stuff is fantasy. The suppression is real, however. But they ate two separate issues.

And Obama will win Ohio.

They would only need to fill out enough provisional ballots to cover the difference. They could have been filling them out for weeks just waiting to add the name of the voter to the ballot. They sent out 7 million absentee for no reason. They are only supposed to send to those that request them. It cost money to produce and mail those ballots...

If they are brazen enough to dump registrations in dumpsters and knock hundreds of voters off the rolls, then why wouldn't they also look at adding votes? Especially if the margin ends up being really close. Like Florida 2000 close. One goon can add a few hundred names to provisional ballots in short order. It's the easiest way for them to seal the deal after election day numbers are in.

They are holding concerts to pump up the turnout at their events -- and they are inflating the number of people at their events (saying 30k instead of 15k) -- and that gives them something to point to as a difference maker in turnout.

to steal. They are brazen since they get away with it. The best reporting on this is at

freepress.org

The worst case is that the "experimental patches" are a part of a plan to monitor returns in order to pad where necessary, that's my theory, the patches send data very quickly to the SOS, then with provisional ballots or vote flipping they can make changes that aren't detectable.

They aren't even supposed to start counting provisionals until the 17th. They obviously have the will, and it looks like they have the ways.

I think the continued positive coverage of Obama's handling of Sandy and Mitt's desperate final lies will only help solidify this trend.
