I was just thinking about how Hillary backed GW in his Iraq mission,
as opposed to some cooler heads
later suggesting she had been fooled, that it was a mistake?

what I cant understand is how Bill Clinton let Hillary be fooled?
Short of the sitting, STOLEN administration, Bill Clinton had some pretty
good intelligence.
I can only assume he knew this was going to happen, and of course,
9-11 and/or any other scurrilous charges were not important or relevant to the mission.
I wish we had a real handle on our foreign policy and a real vote to change the world.
I wish Hillary hadnt made a mistake, and I would like to know why.

Most thinking people don't. I find those who are more gullible tend to favor populism.

This has gone on long enough. Once the voting is done I have no interest in pretending everyone doesn't already know the outcome.
My opinion is that Donald Trump represents an unprecedented threat to this country, and I have no interest in providing a platform for people to act like a Trump presidency isn't such a big deal. I have permitted it during primary season because many people seem determined to pretend we live in a fantasyland where Republicans don't exist -- but once the primary is over reality sets in and we can no longer afford to ignore our Republican opponent.

Might as well add the fact that the sitting vice president and Secretary of State voted for the IWR yet they get a pass... Is it because they have an outie and not an innie?

(3,089 posts)Iraq war? It was very difficult at the time, not a rush to war, but a reasoned decision...and she was by far not the only Dem to voter for this with the same reservations. Did anyone of you criticize Kerry or Biden for their votes?
