Australia PM Turnbull's conservatives win tight election, Trump lite.

Everybody knows that something is up. And arguing about past problems is like a VFW night refighting the battle of the Bulge.

A few realize that robots are coming and that doesn't mean jobs but about 70% unemployment.

But past the age of universal robotics is the end of the age of consumerism...

And that means the end of the economic system.

The only possible answer (so far) is substantial taxes on the ownership society (the 1%) and guaranteed income (enough to sustain a middle class existence) for everyone else.

But even then I worry that idle people (the 99% "consumers&quot will be unhappy people.

One other horrific system is hyper inflation and huge unemployment... with the top 5 percent of earners providing huge profits for the much less than 1% of "owners"... but the number of goods being produced is much less than what is produced now.

Wife is Canadian married to Australian. They are selling Australian house and business and already bought a home in Canada. They feel Canada is a better place to raise their 3 kids.
