(5,038 posts)It's not hard to buy a Bernie T-Shirt in Philly these days. No doubt republican operatives are in Philly with plenty of cash orchestrating some dirty tricks. Regrettably, there are probably also some useful idiots willing to follow along behind.

(15,798 posts)and thinking that Bernie hasn't asked for support from stupid people. Makes me think these protesters are something other than what they claim. At least, I hope that's the case.

(45 posts)When they go into the polls, I don't really think they will mark their ballot for Trump. At worst, they will stay home.

(6,344 posts)Truly, not everyone can move-on as fast as others and accept current events, especially if it is not the outcome they wanted.
It also could be tRump/republican plants in the mix. They play dirty.

(4,840 posts)They should have been on a leash from the beginning. They are immature and ignorant of political reality.
We have a chance to put the Republican Party away for good and these fucking idiots are dumb as rocks.

(2,900 posts)just as not all Jill Stein supporters and all Gary Johnson supporters are real supporters of those candidates.
I've been very happy with the support Sanders has given Clinton and the party in the past two weeks.
There are people who enthusiastically vote for Clinton, such as myself, and then there are people who do not understand that if Trump is elected, our republic is at an end. It will be no different than Russia or Turkey. The choice is stark, but clear.

(4,558 posts)Every single voter has to vote their own conscience. Acceptance isn't really acceptance unless it is applied to those you disagree with.
I can't imagine what the hell would drive someone who actually believed in SBS's message to think a vote for Trump would somehow support SBS's policies, but it is their vote to do with as they will.
I am, and have been a HRC supporter from the start this election cycle. To the core of my being, I believe she's the best, and most capable route for progressive and liberal causes. If we, the people, give her a liberal and progressive congress to work with this November, I don't doubt for a second we'll see GREAT things. If we, the people, give her the same Congress that President Obama has been hamstrung with, we'll see moderate progress in some areas that will be tempered with unpalatable compromises.. but it will still be progress. Trump, however will be anything but progress, and especially if he keeps the congress, we'll see very harmful regression of everything both Hillary and Sanders believes in (not to mention myself, and I believe most here).
If those people who would make such statements choose that route, I can't imagine they were ever really believers in Senator Bernie Sanders message to begin with. At least if they chose some 3rd party candidate like Jill Stein, they'd be consistent in their message belief. I think they'll be throwing their vote away by doing so, but as I said above, it is their vote to use as they see fit.
