Donald Trump is sui generis. He is uniquely awful and uniquely dangerous (REDUX)

As I have said, ad infinitum and ad nauseam, Donald Trump is a threat to the republic. He scoffs at democratic norms and shows contempt for the rule of law.


Donald Trump wants to ban Muslims from coming to America and kick out the Mexicans who are already here. He wants to torture terrorists and kill their families. He says he prefers Jewish accountants over black ones because the former are naturally better with money and the latter are naturally lazy. He calls women pigs and worse. He fawns over dictators like Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-Un... He wants to blow up alliances that have kept us safe.


For all their flaws of his predecessors he is the first presidential candidate to actively advocate dividing Americans by race and religion. I see the 68 Nixon used as the corollary for Donald Trump but he didn't play the role of Donald Trump in that election George Wallace did.

If somebody doesn't take him and the threats he poses seriously. He or she should.
