is counter-productive

No surprise that the media would highlight this. There is nothing more they would like than to see a divided Democratic party.

It isn't going to happen though. The vast majority of Democrats are already coming together, and before the Convention is over, we will be united in defeated Trump, and hoping to get a Democratic Congressional majority

If that happens, there is a real possibility for progressive change.

If we take the Senate and the White House, there is a real possibility that Citizens United might just get over-turned

For someone who couldn't get her own candidacy off the ground, she's now giving advice to other campaigns. It's really sad to watch the exploitation of the desperate. Just like the GOP took advantage of the Mother whose son was killed in Benghazi. She was a Mother who was still grieving the loss of a son, and the Trump organization exploited her for their benefit. I saw her the next day on TV still at the RNC Convention, and still looking like a lost cause. She happened to be standing right behind Chris Matthews at the MSNBC desk he was reporting from, just staring and seeming lost. She really looked a mess, and I say that not to condemn her, but because she really looked unstable. I thought someone needs to get her some help real fast.

the DNC's. Here's her 5 minutes of fame.

Interesting that the media only shows DNC protests and none of the RNCs.

Doing nothing but speaking to people already inclined to protest Dems from the left for just 30 seconds each, with 100% success at "converting" them to Greens.

She'll get 0.353% of the vote this time instead.

I was looking forward to her raising some progressive issues that the establishment candidates wouldn't touch and maybe stirring things up a bit, but she seemed content to just stand there smiling without saying much of anything.

My impression was that she wasn't trying to promote any real political agenda, just going through the motions to keep the Green Party on the ballot.

Seriously, is it really a party when they don't have ANY seats at ANY level of government?

It's comical. Stein is comical for all the reasons we saw recently with position flip-flops and attempts to make sure nobody knew. It's comical because you see so many rubes falling for her schtick and looking to vote her way, even if just a protest vote.
