Donald Trump is the modern day General George Custer, and he's heading off for his last stand.

Vain, narcissistic, foolish, unethical, under qualified, a record full of missteps and yet he keeps on being given chances to reinvent himself.

Only difference is we actually knew Custer's educational standing (last at West Point). We can only guess at Trump's, since he won't release any records.

Richard Mulligan's portrayal of Custer in Little Big Man might be a little bit of a hyperbole, but it fits Trump's hubris to a T.

We can only hope that this November is Trump's Last Stand and that he retreats from the public eye thereafter, having wasted his life and ruined his reputation.

55+ community during the winter months, is filled with snowbirds from SD ND IA WY ID, so when trump came on the scene he was all they could talk about - hubby and I explained to them - it must be a Midwest thing - because anyone EAST of the MISSISSIPPI already knows what a con he is....wait and see said we....

We have maybe, 3 couples who are Dems...but, my hubby makes up for about ten voices..if you know what I mean - he isn't so old that when someone at the club house says, "let's go outside" (and they have) - hubby says "bring it on"

Can't wait for their return in 3 months.....a great 'I told you so" moment...be well all..GOTV

he was probably the best cavalry commander the Union Army had during the Civil War. He was impulsive and glory-seeking, but not so much underqualified as overconfident.
