He's back.
The recession-causing failure family wants to do destroy America for another generation.
DALLAS George P. Bush, a nephew of former President George W. Bush and son of one-time Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, has made a campaign filing in Texas that is required of candidates planning to run for state office, an official said Thursday night.
The younger Bush, a Fort Worth resident, filed a campaign treasurer appointment Wednesday, a requirement for someone to become a candidate under campaign finance law, Tim Sorrells, general counsel for the Texas Ethics Commission, told The Associated Press.
Sorrells said the report does not specify what office Bush might seek, if any, and he had no other details on the filing, which wasn't available online. Bush did not immediately reply to an email seeking comment, and no phone listing for him could be found.
The 36-year-old said in September his goal was to run for office and acknowledged that he had his eyes on several statewide offices.

(2,367 posts)I get those Jeb Bush children mixed up. Also, this guy had then sister who did time in prison for repeated drug use. Right? And the mother who was busted for failing to declare jewelry she bought overseas while returning to the US? Busted for smuggling?
That is one family of moral reprobates. Should be the perfect Republic Party from Texas, candidate.

So TSG wasn't too surprised to learn that "P" was involved in a troubling 1994 incident described in this Metro-Dade Police Department report. On December 31, 1994, Bush showed up at 4 AM at the Miami home of a former girlfriend. He proceeded to break into the house via the woman's bedroom window, and then began arguing with his ex's father. Bush, then a Rice University student, soon fled the scene. But he returned 20 minutes later to drive his Ford Explorer across the home's front lawn, leaving wide swaths of burned grass in his wake. Young Bush avoided arrest when the victims declined to press charges.

(4,209 posts)This Bush will be difficult to defeat in Texas. Even the Castro brothers will have a hard time. The Bush machine will be in full force... here's some of his bio... grad of Rice University; Spanish speaking; served in Afghanistan (I think); worked with Big Brothers/Big Sisters in some capacity (I don't remember exactly what capacity). We will need lots of help and dollars.
