Pence: Gennifer Flowers Won’t Be at Debate, Trump Was Just ‘Mocking’ Clinton Camp

Personally, I think Trump intended to do it & would have but his handlers stopped it because they knew how badly it would backfire & they are already in trouble with women voters.
---------------------------

Mike Pence insisted today that Donald Trump won’t be bringing Gennifer Flowers to the debate tomorrow and said he was just trying to make a point.

He told Chris Wallace, “Gennifer Flowers will not be attending the debate tomorrow night. Donald Trump was using the tweet yesterday really to mock an effort by Hillary Clinton and her campaign to really distract attention.”

Wallace asked why Trump would even go down that road, given how bad it looks to be attacking Clinton over her husband’s affair. Pence brought up how Mark Cuban, who Clinton’s inviting, has “mocked and ridiculed my running mate.”

Wallace asked him if those two are really equivalent.

Watch how Pence answered @ link below:

I also have zero doubt that he fully intended for her to be there, but somebody put the kibosh on the plan. Maybe Pence and the kids, maybe someone else in the campaign who passes for an adult. But I absolutely believe it was something Trump intended to happen.

to do it & Flowers would certainly do it because she would love to be in the spotlight again after all the years.

Also, probably what the Clinton campaign expected knowing that with an action you will always get a reaction from Trump because he can't help himself.

I think Trump is past the point of listening to Pence OR his offspring.

My guess is that he got a "Hey, asshole, listen up" call from Priebus.

Trump does not have an off switch. As much as I loathe Ted Cruz, I was disgusted by Trump's comments regarding his wife and father. And by saying that he'd have Flowers there, he already inflicted whatever damage he desired.

The fact of the matter is that Trump is going to be one filthy bastard between now and November, so if it's not Flowers in the front row, it will be something worse. You can take that to the bank.

Gennifer Flowers, who revealed a sexual relationship with Bill Clinton in the 1990s, is saying she will attend Monday night's debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton as Trump's guest.

Flowers's assistant confirmed the decision to BuzzFeed's Andrew Kaczynski Saturday afternoon, and Flowers herself told the New York Times in a text message, "Yes, I will be there."

Remember when he was claiming that the Enquirer had actually broken true stories -- hence his belief that Ted Cruz was having affairs with staff members and so on? Of course the media never pointed out that Trump was a known adulterer whereas there was a National Enquirer story about Cruz w/no evidence. But they harped on the Cruz story for days.

for Bill having/not having affairs. He is such an idiot -- that would backfire big time with women voters. Of course Trump thinks it is Hillary's fault somehow -- just like I'll bet he thinks it was Ivana's fault for his own adultery. Trump is one of the most obvious narcissists I have ever seen -- it is pathological. It is everybody else's fault.

Pence's ill-considered snark:

Gennifer said "yes" to the invitation and then the Trump camp said no, we didn't invite her. Either that or they "retracted" the inviation.

As of four hours ago, she will not be there. http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/09/donald-trump-gennifer-flowers-debate

The BIG question for me is this: will Trump attend the debate? I still think that he'll find an excuse not to debate at all - or will walk out at the slightest hint of a tough question.
