MarketWatch: Trump on rooting for housing crisis: "That's called business."

This was the beginning of the end, IMHO, and it was very early in the debate.

The presidential debate got off to a raucous start Monday, with Donald Trump owning up to a Hillary Clinton charge that he rooted for the housing crisis.

“That’s called business,” Trump replied, bluntly.

The charge Clinton made stems from what was discovered about the syllabus from the now-defunct Trump University. According to a lawsuit, Trump in 2008 told students that he made a fortune from foreclosures.

It wasn’t the only charge from Clinton that Trump owned up to. Clinton said that in past years, filings show that Trump didn’t pay federal taxes.

“That’s being smart,” Trump replied.
