2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumGreens and BoBs are falling over themselves to try to salvage Trump's performance.
While the whole world collectively gasped at Trump's incoherent and ignorant rants about nuclear weapons, Glenn Greenwald's Intercept found his answers bizarrely credible and soothing.

The inimitable HA Goodman was up right away on YouTube proclaiming Trump the winner. Which is good news because that guy's been wrong about every single thing he's ever written about. His next article should be about which powerball numbers are definitely not going to win.
And of course there's JPR, but at this point I don't think it's accurate to describe that as a pro-Green website, they're pretty much fully behind Trump.

Should figure, though. Their founder (MG) was a Reaganite who's biggest regret was voting for Obama.

(30,481 posts)Let them have at it. They are an insignificantly small number at this point. The party united at the convention. It left the Greens with nothing outside of the need to use Trumped up verbiage. They are marginalized to the point we do not want to spend a dime on them, we do not want their voice in our party, and we can't even really marginalize them any further. They are not mentally competent as a group and Stein is willing to trash the whole party. An absolute train wreck of a candidate and her supporters are a good match for her. I truly hope they kick Stein to the curb and get their shit together moving forward. I believe they have been a positive force in the past.
