The former Secretary of State, 68, and the mogul, 70, covered a variety of topics as NBC's Lester Holt moderated at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. The 90-minute showdown incited laughs, cringes and one-liners that viewers couldn't help but discuss on social media.
Voters in particular poked fun at Trump's sniffling frenzy (tissue, anyone?), Clinton's shoulder shimmy action, his incessant interruptions, Holt's "disappearance" when he seemed to check out from, well, moderating, and the candidates' argument over stamina, which led to a mic-drop moment from a preternaturally calm Clinton.
