I don't think Don the Con has the mental capacity to prep for a debate

Last night, as soon as the debates ended, I was worried about the next debate. That's just in my DNA. But you know something...I truly don't think he has the mental capacity to retain the info and to prepare for the next debate. He doesn't have the discipline to study the actual information, he doesn't have the actual experience to simply know the information, and his ego is massive to the point he probably says "I don't need to prepare."

And for that...she will kick his ass in the next debate.

Trump can't keep from getting rattled either. He's too vain and thin skinned and spoiled.

I don't think so, I think he is one of those kids whose Dad gave money to get him a degree, I know they exist here in Oklahoma I saw them. Trustfund babies graduate, whether they deserve to or not.

His campaign will want him to prep, and I would think, after last night, even he would agree. But, I think you're right. He's incapable of focusing for more than a few minutes. We've heard this time and again, and it's true.

Here's the trick. He's ok for about 15 minutes, then no focus at all. Hillary has to save the zingers for later, just like last night.

he certainly isn't going to approach hillary's command of the facts and mastery of the issues. trump's completely unqualified for that.

but he is capable of rehearsing a few canned lines, sound bites, maybe even brief speeches. well, one paragraph, anyway.

then he'd be able to compete at a 3rd grade level instead of a 1st grade level. of course he's still going up against the equivalent of the nobel prize winning professor....

for debates. He really believes his abilities are so great, he doesn't have to waste his time preparing for such an easy thing.

It is simply not possible to do that.

if he's incapable of paying attention, or doesn't care. Either way, something wrong.

10. Well, to prep for a debate, he would have to be willing/able to
Tue Sep 27, 2016, 04:01 PM

1) Accept criticism
2) Listen and learn what was needed

Since he already "knows it all" and doesn't accept criticism, he'll never prep unless he's threatened -- and even then, maybe not.

Now he knows he got his ass kicked, that is clear, but he's blaming it on a microphone and unfair questions. And behind the scenes you can bet he's blaming it on his team.

It was the most embarrassing night of his life and 90 million people watched him embarrass himself. But he is a narcissist, this will not lead him to make big changes. He's gong to complain about the terms, and he's going to have his team prepare some more "zingers." And he might try to stay on message more in the next one. But he's not going to do some major shift in preparation strategy, he's not capable of it.

And Hillary will be ready for him and will have an adjusted strategy in place. My guess is she still needles him mercilessly, but in a less aggressive fashion so when he goes over the top (he's going to talk about Bill's affairs) she can look like she's playing fair and he's a lout. And the next meeting is a town hall, he missed his chance because a town hall is no place to try to get nasty with voters a part of the set asking questions. He's going to sound appalling.

... have said that Trump needs to do more prep for the next debate. I don't think he has near the physical, intellectual or psychic stamina to dig in and learn lots of stuff well enough to spout it forth at appropriate times in the next debate.

He knows how to do one thing, to "dictate". That doesn't work when you're up against an actual adversary who understands how debating is supposed to take place. Besides, and most in my family have this so I'm not casting aspersions here, he has a bad case of ADHD.

But it's pretty clear Trump has always been a "skimmer." I seriously doubt he could read a book cover to cover - Now that would be a great question to ask him... what is the name of last book you read in its entirety?
