I know its not over but doesn't Bernie come out of this smelling like a rose?

He stayed on message, never wavered. Never got caught in a big lie. He kept his word to campaign for HRC. He never went "low". The leaked DNC/HRCemails confirmed his claims of "Wasserman's bias as well as a few other random nasty things... making him more sympathetic than ever. I love this man.

And actually, it is obvious that this whole thing easily could have unfolded in a totally different way.

As it is , I could not imagine Republicans imploding as definitively as they are iif HRC was not the candidate. Funny how things work out.

Yeah, I know its no time for a victory lap and folks still need to get out and vote (though many have already) but it is absolutely delicious that so many assholes hitched their wagon to Trump. I could not imagine a scenario in which more GOP-ers would be going down than what is unfolding now.

Trump's use of the phrase Trojan horse is ironic... he, himself is the Trojan Horse that is sinking the party.

selfish of me, I know.

He could be a force in the Senate for an Independent. He and Liz Warren could be a great progressive tag team.

9. I'd love it, but I think that may depend on the margin of control in the Senate.

He's taken the mantle of the late Paul Wellstone and really become the conscience of the Senate.

10. You have to wonder if, at some level, he realizes what a mess he has made

Maybe not consciously, or that he would ever admit to. But as a narcissist, no doubt he is blaming it on someone, anyone else.

Not sure what the 'BoB's' have to do with what I wrote, either. I'm talking about the mess that Trump made for himself. Has nothing to do with anyone else.

I was a BIG Bernie supporter but never, ever had a single qualm about Hillary. We ended up with two really fantastic candidates from which to choose. It was a win/win for Democrats.

And I did a WHOLE lot of talking to others who had that 'Bernie or Bust' mentality, and managed to get them all to make the transition to Hillary. Even got a few 'doesn't matter who you vote for, they're all the same' to agree that Hillary is the best candidate in this election.

Although he has had to walk back some sharp criticisms (as would HRC have had to do if she had not prevailed). I think he'll remain a valuable ally and become more prominent as an opinion leader thanks to his run. Doubt he wants a cabinet post but Labor might be a good fit.

The only people who don't come out well are the small remaining BorB fringe and the slightly larger but noticeably quieter of late contingent who loudly claimed that nominating Clinton guaranteed a Trump win.

2) he's not be as compelling a contrast to Trump- both splitting the change voter, particularly men. Both weak on foreign policy and women's issues. (I think he'd be sunk by his statements that there should be no restrictions at all on abortion)

Sanders may have won, it would have been a n'ail biter but Trump would not blown apart like that. His misogyny and the whole baggage of hate towards Hrc makes the blowup and the win more likely

Since a lot of millenialsv are still not on board and he was laying hard I Hrc corrupt corporatist narrative, not sure he comes out wholly clean

Both being populist plays in Trumps favor here

What is he still hiding. He should be supporting HRC vigorously considering all the right wing based talking points Bernie used in his campaign.
