When the Donald said if he was president he would lock up Hillary, I wish Hillary had said:

"That's all we need, an insecure child-man as a dictator, tearing up our Constitution."

.... Another Caligula (little boots)...

I think Hillary should take off the gloves with the Donald and just state matter of factly his total lack of confidence is what drives his transparent attempts to appear 'strong' and 'manly'. ..."In other words Donald, you're faking it."

This is relevant, because this is definitely NOT who you want getting the 'nuclear codes'.

This would cause the Donald to go berzerk on tv (in the next debate).

He would have had trouble controlling himself to not say something really ignorant and to come back with something reasonably rational. He might very well have lost his battle with his childish self and said something extraordinarily crass - hysterical attack on Hillary - and very unpresidential.

Sec. Clinton is about winning hearts not zingers. Although she has made a few wordless zingers in the debates by smiling and laughing at the worst the Rump can shat out at her.

14. what you don't realize is that an intelligent assessment of the Donald's behavior and comments

would be received quite differently than that which was given to Donald's outrageous, baseless, ass-hole type comments. When he said "if I were president you'd be in jail" >> not an exact quote -- that is clearly ignorant, childish, boorish, and not at all reality based (the Director of the FBI, counselled by the FBI attorney's said there was not a case for indicting her). She is capable of making a comment/criticism of something he has said, without showing anger, but delivering it with level headed equanimity..

I think given the number of unanswered outrageous, baseless charges Trump made against her, people would recognize she was right to make an assessment of his behavior/speech, that it shows Donald's predilection for totalitarian solutions. I think people would feel she was well within her rights to make an assessment of the Donald's behavior (how many interruptions did he make?) and accusations.

Note I am not advocating a litany of comments like this, from Hillary.

No, I don't think people would see her responding to his bullshit, as inappropriate at all. I think most would applaud her for it.

Men can get away with this shit, a woman is ALWAYS held to a different standard and she is already outside that.
Trust us woman who has worked in the trenches for thirty years. You guys have no clue how many times we've hit those land mines- what you're suggesting would be to have her start a name calling contest. Nope, nope and no fucking way. Dumb idea.

Also- you just "derided" me.
I get it- it's much harder to take coming from a woman.
I know how it works. So does Hillary. That's why she's been walking on a razors edge this whole time. Most men are totally unaware of it, but women talk about how well she is doing it all the time.
