Joe Scarborough Is Part Of The Problem - by Andrew Sullivan

If you recall, Scarborough's original, slanderous words against Nate Silver were the following:

Anybody that thinks that this race is anything but a tossup right now is such an ideologue, they should be kept away from typewriters, computers, laptops and microphones for the next 10 days, because they’re jokes.

Scarborough called Nate Silver an ideologue and a joke. Instead of copping to his slander and his foolishness, he now writes a Politico column that is so brimming with, well Politico-style Village media horse-shit you need a medical mask to keep breathing to the end. First off, he starts with mockery of Upper West Side limousine hippie liberals and all the usual, lazy, exhausted boomer tropes that make Scarborough and all his flunkies as irrelevant as they are desperate for attention:

Just as the Beatles had the Maharishi to guide them through the tough times after the death of their manager Brian Epstein, progressives had Silver’s New York Times blog to comfort them after the first presidential debate.

Even if that analogy isn't itself stupid and lazy ... so fucking what? Mr Scarborough, you were wrong because you have no understanding of statistics, and you slandered someone who was sincere and transparent and smart. So where's the apology? Not there yet. Instead we get this:

TV pundits want ratings and instead of a serious analysis of Silver's predictions, or some theory as to why they could be wrong (i.e. voter turnout, overestimating early voting, under estimating the unemployment numbers, etc) he just criticized Silver on a false, tired, overplayed critique of liberalism. JS has no clue that Silver was being non-partisan in his prediction, being a scientist, and relying on the data. Then again, science isn't most Republican's strong suit.

Peace,
Tex Shelters

Apparently, he (and wife Campbell Brown) will be at the Brzezinski household for Thanksgiving (as per Mika and dad Zbigniew on MJ this am).

Put laxative in his helping of stuffing, Mika, because he is clearly full of shit!!

to comprehend the enormity of pain & suffering that he has inflicted on the world. Probably not, but a conversation can begin about dedicating one's life, at a very minimum, to doing no harm.

As we said in the 60s: war is not good for children and other living things.

... the name changed to Mornings with Mika.
Joe should labeled a trespasser. I never did like him. Yes, he's more moderate, but moderate in today's republicrat crowd? The Waco nutjob David Koresh would be mainstream republicrat today. Oh, and if I remember right, JS was on the side of Koresh and his followers at the time... quite possibly because the whitehouse had a democrat in it.
Whenever Joe's lips are moving I can never get what he is saying because of this noise coming from... everywhere SHUT UP JOE!!!
The guy is always wrong. Always. How does he keep his job? Must be because he's MSNBC's token conservative.
That's all he is... a token. Worth nothing and easily broken.

Almost as bad as Scarborough are the rest of the case who bow and scrape to achieve his approval. Sickening.

Joe gives hope to all the average and below thinkers in the world. He's a simple minded-Reagan worshiping dick that really doesn't have an original idea in his head. Miki patronizes him, and occasionally lets him think he is "macho" or "clever".

I've watched just little bits and pieces of the fool, and I have concluded that Joe is NOT a great thinker, nor even a thinker of notoriety. He's simply a simple-minded, shallow repuKKKe that likes those simple answers for complex problems, and he likes the mantras that his party spews to their weak minded lemmings.

Joe is nothing special...not even close to "smart"...not even.

...that you're almost an embarrassment to listen to.'' -- Zbigniew Brzezinski to Joe Scarborough (with daughter sitting next to Joe rolling her eyes at daddy)

- Anyone who knows me also knows I am hard-pressed to quote anything Zbigniew Brzezinski says. Ever. However, with this Scarborough idiot, this case would be the exception that proves the rule......
