LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) More than 10,000 people voted today in the first two hours of early voting in Clark County.
There were lines of 20 to 25 minutes at each of the 28 early voting locations, according to Joe Gloria, Clark County registrar of voters.
"The lines of 20 to 25 minutes were about what we expected," Gloria said. "We've had no problems."
Typically, about 60 percent of those who vote in Clark County do so during the 14-day early voting period that began today and ends on Nov. 4.
In 2012, the last presidential election, about 436,000 residents voted early.
In 2012, there were 33,182 votes cast on the first day of early voting.

(838 posts)The only "disturbance" at my early voting location was a couple of nicely dressed Latino guys chanting Hillary's name as they peeled out of the lot when they were done voting.
