4. Well, all I could think of was that some folks

need to down a Xanax or something. I was working. When I came back, DU was exploding with concern. I went out to grab something from a local store. When I came back, the actual story had come out and the previous reaction looked kind of silly.

We need to slow our reactions down just a little, I think.

3. Yup. It's tempting to panic, considering what's at stake, but

this looks like a big fat nothingburger. Anthony Weiner got emails from his wife (soon to be ex-wife, for good reason) on his phone. I don't know why this should even be news, but we shall see. In the meantime, over the weekend people will be watching the World Series, making costumes for their kids and going to Halloween parties and will not be paying the slightest attention to this. Many people have already voted; those who have not done so will not change their minds because of it. "OMG, Oh, no! There were emails from Huma Abedin on Anthony Weiner's phone! I was going to vote for Hillary because I agree with her positions on the economy, taxes, health care and women's rights, but now I'm going to vote for Trump even though he's a racist, narcissistic, xenophobic sexual predator!" I don't think there will be much of that...

5. Well, anyone living that close to the edge during this election

needs to step away from the 24-hour news coverage until next Tuesday. It's getting ridiculous.
