2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumYawn. No one is interested in the media's scandal-a-day BS about Hillary
Tempest in the beltway media teapot. Minds are not being changed, because most people are tired of the BS, have made up their minds and really don't give a fuck.
The cake is baked at this point. Frankly, it was baked when the third debate ended with another Hillary victory. All the media is doing now is goosing their ratings anyway they can. It's not about new stories or new info. It's about them whipping up interest in the only way they know: stay tuned to see what might happen next!
Really pathetic. Trump is going to lose big. The Rs are going to lose big. But the biggest losers this year are the media outlets who have managed to cause all sides of the political equation to entirely lose any trust they had in the media before this election cycle.

Americans are preoccupied with better things to do than to worry about our disfunctional media's latest BS.

(182,866 posts)From the early voting it looks like about 9% have already voted. I can't imagine many people really are left and we do have the fact that Trump is the opponent. I really hope you are right about all the distractions. Anything "email" related may be met with glossed over eyes anyway.
