Irrelevant comparison. 9/8 was two months out and at the height of the McCain-Palin buzz post their convention.

SurveyUSA's last NC poll from 2008 had McCain winning...but by only a point.

So, the results were within the MOE.

With that said, I don't buy for a minute Hillary is down 7 in North Carolina.
