without looking at several other reputable polls taken in the same time-frame? I'm thinking of the Hampton VA poll, obviously, but this has happened all-too-often here -- a lone poll showing Trump ahead somewhere gets released, and immediately becomes top news here, when several other polls, by equally- or more-reputable pollsters showing a Clinton lead for the same time period, don't even get mentioned.

Don't put too much stock in outliers.

(99,710 posts)There is a huge difference between posting positive polls to increase esprit de corps and posting negative ones to decrease it.

(65,616 posts)She has around 2.3 to every 1 of his voters. No matter what any one poll says, they all say she has him beat in numbers.
So how will he magically raise that number in a week? Answer - he won't, not possible.

(5,711 posts)This poll has Hilary beating Trump in Florida by 8 points, and has Marco Rubio winning reelection by 6 points. The Trumpets don't argue the Rubio poll as being BS, But they want to trash the poll about Hilary.
And boy, are they whinning about it!
