"Will REPUBLICANS push us over the cliff"? Not will the president push us over the cliff!

I am so sick and tired of hearing the media put the blame of going over the fiscal cliff on the president. It's the republicans that have been fighting him day in and day out since he took office, not the other way around. The president has put out his plan and told Boehner to put out his plan. Republicans want the president to put entitlement cuts on the table, but they won't say what they want. The president has made it clear what he wants, so why doesn't the media start asking republicans what they want cut?

Stop being a spoiled child Mr. Boehner, stand up to your tea party clowns and do what is right. Put YOUR plan out so the public can see where it is YOU and your party want to make the cuts, or are you afraid that if you do that it would show the country just who it is you are really trying to help, and it won't be the 98%, will it Mr Speaker?

1. the "cliff" was created by shrub and the republicans in the first place

the whole thing really started with shrub insisting on a tax cut so insane even they knew they couldn't get away with making it permanent, so they made it expire in the 2010. sure various people and events have led to some extensions and add-ons, but the basis for the cliff is that stupid tax cut republicans are so proud of.

And the ironic part is many who voted for Bush's tax cuts are still in congress and keep saying how letting those cuts expire on the rich will "hurt" the economy, and that those who gain the most from those cuts are "JOB CREATORS" even though the facts show otherwise. If giving tax cuts to the rich really created jobs we wouldn't be in the mess we are in now.

3. Clinton made the tax surplus, Bush said that was people's money so created tax cuts, twice.

We spent that surplus on two wars, two tax cuts, prescription drug program that were unpaid for. The tax cuts were to sunset in ten years "2011".
