Give the Greens recount efforts a chance

Stunned by th 2004 results in Ohio (went to sleep with Kerry lead, woke up with Bush as the winner), I volunteered to help with the Greens' recount efforts in Ohio in 2004.
(Long time Dem here, but Kerry campaign couldn't do the recount) While there were lots of problems getting local election officials to cooperate, ( especially in areas of why ballots were not counted, etc.) the process was very helpful in identifying election/voting problems that needed to be fixed. The results of the recount help spur changes in voting machine technology ( including paper receipts from electronic machines.
The biggest problems I saw centered on voting machine company employees being given access to the machines to enter software updates to facilitate recounts. ( no conflicts there!) Until we as a country can eliminate the private, proprietary access to voting machine and scanner technology, we will never have fair elections.
Give the Greens a chance! They worked really hard in 2004 and did a lot of good. Let's support snd encourage them. Peace, Hannah

They did not solicit millions of dollars from unwitting Democrats (and keep the surplus to pad their coffers).

Or, to be more precise, a progressive. They can keep the money if they file. Resolute inaction with respect to hackable voting systems is a strange position, and I don't agree with it.

The votes definitely need to be recounted in these three states. Wyoming seems to have quite a history of over votes.

I contributed and I resent being called and "unwitted Democrat." You have been so against recounting the votes in thread after thread.

Why do you not want a recount??

They are manipulating Democrats to donate to a party and a candidate who actively and aggressively did everything in their power to oppose Hillary Clinton. And they will use the money they are being given now to continue to work against Democrats.

It angers me that Jill Stein is making money from Democrats - which she will use against Democrats in the future as she has done in the past.
