It has a condition of "if Obama" does anything more to restrict his guns. Since Obama is most likely going to do something more to restrict his guns, it would seem like the threat is valid and current.

Also, are we allowed to incite violence? If so, would I get in trouble if I stood on a street corner and shouted "we need to get prepared to kill the 1%" or some such stuff?

At least if the threatener is not named Mohammed.

LEOs play the power game well. The local yokels get upset when someone challenges them as we often see on PINAC. The smarter ones when they see they figure out that their target is prepared, back way off.

Section 42 of the USC is a powerful threat

It seems apparent he means it, or thinks he means it. And he has to be one of the biggest fools on the planet.

Someone in law enforcement should at least visit him and let him know that they are aware of him. His name and information should also be posted on the police department's "interested persons" list.

I think there are many of these loud mouths who might shut up if they had a little heat put on them. The majority of them (I sincerely hope) are only braggarts who are seeking attention.

... ballistics test his guns... all of them
Really piss him off - take the ones that aren't registered until the registration process is complete. Then he can get them back.

I know that when I moved back to Michigan from California, where I legally bought a gun (Taurus 9mm), I did the responsible thing...
I took my gun down to the local sherrif dept. to get it registered in MI. I had all the paperwork and even the sales receipt. All well and good right?
Well, they confiscated it for a week... background check for registration
Pissed me off to no end that they took my gun that I had legally bought and was doing the responsible thing in registering.
I had already gone through the background check and registration process in CA... Why don't the states talk to each other?

He has already been busted for fudging his certifications.

That almost certainly means that further scrutiny will reveal other, larger indiscretions of the old-boy type. Now that there are a million pairs of eyes on him and his sham of a life, it is only a matter of time before he is publicly shamed, then ridiculed, then reduced to insignificance.

But probably not arrested, for the reasons already spelled out half a dozen times above.
